Oversaw a staff of 10-15 writers for the University at Buffalo’s independent student-run newspaper. Laid out the news section in Adobe InDesign as well as line editing and copy editing. Also wrote investigative news stories about campus bureaucracy and pressing issues facing students. Wrote features, breaking news, reviews, op/ed and profiles usually between 800 and 1,500 words.

Edited and oversaw a staff of 10 feature writers for the University at Buffalo’s independent student-run magazine. Generation is the largest circulating student-run magazine on the East Coast. Prepared stories for publication, copy edited and laid them out using Quark. Wrote 2,000 to 3,000 word feature stories about music, Internet business, health, science, culture and academia.
