“Cyber-begging”

It's been a month since graduation and I still haven't gotten my $30,000 piece of paper in the mail.

As a recent college graduate who will be roughly $80,000 in debt after I get my masters in May 2011 I feel the pain of this toilet bowl economy and a very small, better yet-minuscule, amount of personal assets.

There didn’t seem to be a way to get “free” money for school without filling out a lengthy form or writing a melodramatic essay…until now!

Meet sponsormydegree.com, a new website where students post profiles (for free) and hope that philanthropists and kindhearted souls drop them some cash.

These debt-ridden students are actually getting some money, too, according to The Huffington Post.

Maybe I should sign up.
